There is a swim lesson program for everyone at Sunshine Swim Center.

  • Parent Tot Lessons (ages 6 months – 36 months)
  • Youth Group Swim Lessons (ages 2.5 years – 12 years)

Swim Assessments & Trial Classes

Getting Started

Swim assessments are quick one-on-one evaluations of your swimmer to determine their ability level; takes approximately 5-7 minutes.  Trial classes are run in the same fashion as our group classes and will give you and your swimmer the opportunity to get a feel for the Sunshine experience; 25-minutes in duration.

Swim Assessments are not necessary if you are only interested in Private one-on-one lessons.  Otherwise, click on the link below to get started.

Infant Swimming Lessons

Infant Group Swim Lessons

Parent Tot Group Class; Ages 6 months to 36 months

At Sunshine Swim Center, we understand the development of children ages 6 months to 36 months old can vary greatly. To better focus on these stages of development we have created 2 different classes.

Parent Tot 1 (infants 6 months – 15 months old). Focusing on large motor development and sensory awareness.

Parent Tot 2 (infants 16-36 months old). Building on gross motor function and adding focus of fine motor development and water exploration.

Infant Private Swim Lessons

Ages 6 months to 36 months

At Sunshine Swim Center private swim lessons are tailor-made for each swimmer.

This is a slower paced swim class. Ideal for infants who don’t like water on their faces or are unsure of the weightlessness of the water environment.

This swim lesson is taught away from other classes to offer a more calm and controlled space for the infant swimmer.

Youth Swimming Lessons

Group Swim Lessons

Ages 2.5 to 12 years

Sunshine group swim lessons are geared toward small classes sizes for faster progress.

Each level focuses on 5 important skills, students will practice these skills in various ways to achieve mastery.

Toddler group class sizes are 2:1, beginning levels are 3:1, intermediate levels are 4:1 & our most advanced levels Otter through Swim Clinics are 6:1 student to instructor ratio.

Private Swim Lessons

Ages 2.5 to 17 years

Private swim lessons are great for busy families; they allow for flexibility and focus.

Children who are fearful of the water, are older and new to swimming, or may need adaptive lessons, will see positive results with private swim lessons.

Youth Swim Team

Youth Swim Team

The Sunshine Gators; Ages 4-15 years

Looking for something more than swim lessons? Get your feet wet with our hybrid swim team program. A perfect mixture of small group practices, a blend of team activities, and a splash of competitive spirit with inner squad swim meets.

3 seasons – August to December, January to March, and April to July

Lap lanes are available in the mornings, Monday – Thursday, Saturdays and Sundays for individuals who are interested in adding swimming to their workout routine.

It’s never too late to learn how to swim.  Our tailor-made lessons will help you to reach your personal swimming goals.

New to the sport of swimming?Overcome your fears and build confidence in your swimming abilities with the help of a swim coach.

Master Swimmer? Correct technique is key to avoiding injury. Our instructors can guide you in getting the most out of your time in the pool.
