With great pride and joy Sunshine welcomes back our SHARK BITES Homeschool Swim Program. An exclusive “team” like program offered by SSFC to cater to our homeschooled families and community. Registration is now OPEN for this program. Only offered during the school year.
What is Shark Bites?
Our Shark Bites program is a bridge between traditional swim lessons and a swim team. The practices will offer longer distances, additional drills and coaches with swim team experience. Swimmers can experience a “swim team like atmosphere” with a small coach to swimmer ratio and a minimum commitment of 2-months.
Our Shark Bite Program offers 2 levels:
Sharks Level 1: Ages 5 and Up
Requirements: Swimmers must be able to Kick 25 yards on a kick board and swim 12 yards of freestyle without assistance.
Tuesday and Thursday @ 12:30 – 12:55
Classes are held for 4 weeks
25-minute swim class for up to 6 students
Sharks Level 2: Ages 5 and Up
Requirements: Swimmers must be able swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke unassisted without the aid of a kick board.
Tuesday and Thursday @ 1:00 – 1:50pm
Classes are held for 4 weeks
50-minute swim class for up to 8 students
