Activities Include:

8:30-9:15

Morning stations:  4 tables set up with various activities:

• Manipulative table ( includes activities such as lego and play doh)
• Drawing/ Art Table
• Game table (incudes chess or battleship or uno…)
• Reading Area

9:15-9:45

Large Group Activity: Activities to get the campers moving, work on team building, and getting to know each other.

9:45-11:15

Off-site Walking Field Trip: An outside adventure; walking to Mendoza Park to play on the jungle gym and play games in the big grass area.

11:15-11:30

Snack time:  Brought from home.  Just one item to fuel their energy after playing at the park.

11:30-12:15

Table work:  Activities for campers to work independently or in small groups to spark imagination.  Could be creative art, science, drama, or music.

12:15-12:40

Lunch Time:  Brought from home.  Please avoid candy and sugary energy drinks or sodas

1:00-3:00

Swim Time:  2-hours of lifeguard monitored swim time.  Campers will be tested on basic swim survival skills before getting in the water.  If they pass the test they  do not need to wear a life vest, if they do not pass they will use a life vest while in the pool.

Games and activities will be lead by camp teachers for a portion of the time as well as choice swim time will be given.

3:00-3:30

Changing into Dry Clothes and Snack Time:  Using the changing room campers change out of their wet swim suits into dry clothes. Campers are pretty hungry after swim time so a small snack for afterwards, provided by the family is welcome.

3:30-4:30

Table work and group games:  At the end of the day we like to finish up any table work activities needing to be completed and then break off into small group games.  They could be outside in the play yard inside the camp room.
